OK, i have been stupid, i got all excited about seeing Full Throttle Remastered on GOG. Excited enough that i assumed that i would be able to download it and run it on my laptop, without checking the minimum requirements.

Of course assumption only make an ass of u and me.

Here's my system details:

OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16Ghz 2.17 GHz
Installed RAM: 3.00GB
System Type: 32-bit operating system, x64-base processor


Is there a work around, or any hope that i will be able to get Full Throttle Remastered to work on my laptop?

Here are what gog says are the minimum requirements:

Minimum system requirements - Windows: 7 or later
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, AMD Athlon™ X2 2.8 GHz, or higher
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, ATI Radeon 4870 HD / Intel HD 4000 Graphics, or equivalent
Hard drive space: 8000 MB available space
Sound Card: Windows Compatible Card
Additional Notes: GPU that supports OpenGL 3.3 or higher

Your processor is ok, but you don't have enough memory.That is a killer.
And you do not mention what kind of GPU(video card) you have. That could be another killer.
Sorry, but you just do not have what it takes to run the game anywhere near a decent level.

Always check the Minimum requirements before buying a game..particularly the HD or Enhaced versions of classic games. The requirements are often much higher then the original game.

I just tried it on my Tablet PC. Atom Z3735F 1,33 Ghz, 2 Gigs of Ram, Windows 10 and FullHD. Had a few little slowdowns but totally playable.

I'd give it a try ;)

Sadly all i get is the following message,



'Full Throttle Remastered Has stopped working'

'A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available'


No other explanation.

Hey, when you play a game on a computer that does not meet minimum requirements, you have to expect that kind of message.
You took a chance, bpught a game knowing your computer did not meet the minimum requirements,and it did not work out.

For those of you who cannot get the game to load because the setup cannot find the second bin file:

Look at the full path of the smallest of the 2 bin files, and change the end section to read: (g)-2.bin
The game will then install correctly!

i have a macbook pro with 4go of RAM 2,2ghz intel COre 2 duo and it is incredibily slow...unplayable... i am very disapointed... when i was playing it it was with 450mhz with 256mb of RAM.... its totally incredible that it doesnt wotk now... it a chance a dont buy it....
