Ok, so the mac version is finally here. I was all ready ready to dive into nostalgia and epic music and the i changed the langage to french (as it was how i played it first) and it stayed in english. tried a few other langage to check and english always stay. subtitle chages fine but not the voice acting. it's frustrating. any tips / solution ?

thanks a lot.

edit : ok, it's only the cinematics that are in english. is there a way to have them in french or is it a developpers choice ?

I'm pretty sure its a bug - in the cut scenes, some of the voices will be in french (and in the windows version the cut scenes are in french...) who do we need to talk to about fixing this?
its pretty strange that they didnt see this in testing, as its the very first thing you notice when you start a new game in french. which could possibly indicate its also not happening on all macs? I still have yosemite installed - maybe its a problem that goes away in the latest version? I'd be surprised if they didnt play test the french version at least once...

Hi,

According to DoubleFine's support page, the languaage issue on Macs should be fixed in the next patch: http://support.doublefine.com/forums/597328-full-throttle-remastered/suggestions/19612090-cutscenes-language

Hi there,

Please update the game via Galaxy or re-download the game's PKG file as the issue with the French & German voices on the Mac version has been fixed as of 07.08.2017 :)
