GOG.com,

Any change you are considering adding or bundling FTL (Advanced) with the full soundtrack as Steam does with their version?

I know there is always the Bandcamp route, though which is great.

Ben Prunty sure did an impressive job in my opinion, both on FTL and Into The Breach.

Yes, platform parity would be a good thing. :)
Yeah, the OST is quite cool, it should be added here too, even as a DLC.

(btw weird, the quality on Bancamp's preview feels higher than the music ingame, despite being only 128 kbps)

I've asked Ben about it on multiple occasion. He'd mentioned he would consider it but that doing so was low priority. In case anyone's curious, if you want to buy the soundtrack knowing he'd get the highest cut from the sale possible, then purchasing directly through Bandcamp is the best option.

One of the reasons it isn't here is because when FTL originally released, GOG had a different policy regarding things like music. Since then things have changed obviously and I pointed this out to Ben. Unfortunately there were other factors making him hestitant about it like the controversy concerning a former GOG employee at the last time I asked.

Since that time he's picked up a pretty big piece of work with the new Subnautica game so I haven't really had another opportunity to ask him about this again but the next chance I do, I will see if anything's changed or not.

Unless it's been a few quarters, might want to hold off asking again; don't want to end up with another Barry.
He's usually pretty affable so long as the questions stay respectful. I think the last time I asked was either before the end of last year or sometime in early January.

Ever since he got the Subnautica work I've held off though because it seems like he's having a rough start with it - due in part to health issues and what seems like general creative issues - and I know were I in a similar position, having someone remind me of low priority stuff would be like throwing a lit match into a closet full of TNT.
