I'm having some real problems launching this game in recent days. I can't get it to continue, my save was wiped, and fiddling with options like launch settings (Steam version), DPI or Launch as admin, and a few others have failed. I am not sure what else to try, but this has never happened with this game before.
In Steam, the only thing that worked was reverting to an older version (Version 1.6.7)
This gets even weirder. After I reverted to the older version via Steam, the current version (Version 1.6.9) is working again. I have no idea what to make of this. My guess is that since both affect what goes into the Documents Library, that this issue is with save files being messed up.
Really great if someone could look into this.

Using Nvidia Geforce 1080ti with latest drivers (Version: 417.71)
