Neither desktop shortcut nor start.sh work. Running it from desktop achieves literally nothing (no response whatsoever), while running start.sh produces an error:

Hej man,

unfortunately, I have similar problems with launching Frozen Synapse, albeit I am on another distribution (manjaro).

I also get a MESA error, but for me it is not "i965" and "swrast", but "nouveau" and "swrast".

Have you had any luck in solving your issue?

I had the same error and was able to fix it on ubuntu 18.04 by going into the game directory "~/GOG Games/Frozen Synapse/game/x86" and renaming the files "libgcc_s.so.1" and "libstdc++.so.6", because the system has newer versions of both. I tried to rename "libSDL-1.2.so.0", but the game complained so I left it untouched.
