When flying a mission, my screen sometimes blacks out. All controls are operational, and audio continues. It appears to only happen when there is no nebulae in view - because when I maneuver the ship so that a nebula appears again, the screen comes back!

It is a complete blackout - no HUD etc so this can't be by design. I'm using an integrated graphics card (Intel HD 4600), but all the latest drivers are installed. Anyone seen this before or know how to fix it?

I have run the FreeSpaceOpen installer and installed all of the "basic" mods, but no change.

Update - if I turn off backgrounds in the "details" section, I get no display at all during flight. Audio works, but no display.

Using an Intelgrated with FSO? Try adding the -no_glsl commandline option. If that doesn't help, please generate and post your debug log.

Fixed it by using wxLauncher and the MediaVP's 2014 mod (which changes all the graphics anyway).
