I've got the Warthog HOTAS (which Windows recognizes as two separate devices, throttle unit and stick)and some Saitek rudder pedals, and the problem I'm running into is that both Freespace 1 and 2 are only accepting input from the rudder pedals. I can't bind anything to either stick or throttle, and the left and right wheel brake axes of the pedals are controlling pitch and yaw respectively!

Does anyone know if it's possible for either Freespace game to recognize multiple input devices, or does it just recognize the first one it detects only, which in this case are my pedals?
If you download Freespace Open (modern open source engine) on top of your GOG version, I don't believe there is a problem. However, I think vanilla FS1/2 does indeed only recognize one input device. I'm not 100% sure about that though.
I know this is an OLD thread, but currently FSO does not support multiple input devices. However, the guys at the SCP are working on that, and if you search this topic on the forums at hard-light . net there is more info and some workarounds.
