I think it was my mom who got a computer through her job many years ago, and this was one of the games that followed. Being a fan of games such as Battlezone and earlier star wars spaceship games I thought cool, a space game but I remember not expecting much. I was ofcourse oblivious to the greatness of this game. Everything (was)is great about it, especially the story.
I think this was the first game I played where you could actually get "achievements" or medals as they are ingame. I tried to play every mission pixelperfect just to get every medal back then and I still do today :)
I'm just thrilled that a site such as GOG exists and brought me this game again on Vista.
