Is there a list of compatible joysticks?
I have a Cyborg Graphite by Saitek that Vista 64 callibrates but it doesn't work in game.
Do just no USB sticks work? I've seen that before.
Anyway, thanks for the advice. This stick is old and wasn't that great when it was new anyway.
Specs:
Vista Business64
8 Gig of Ram
Intel Core2 Duo 3.16GHz
Asus P5N32E SLI Plus Board
Nvidia 9800 GTX+ (EVGA)
Thanks
Mark
You know what, I'm So freaking sorry, I found this in the forums (I wasn't using the launcher, doh!). I was just overlooking it when I skimmed through earlier. Really Very sorry everyone, if it helps I've been sick and working a lot and I'm tired. ;)
However, to salvage the post, I really do want to get rid of this crappy stick of mine. What do you recommend because the ones on amazon make it sound like they all suck! ;)
Thanks everyone, again sorry for asking an answered question.
Thanks
Mark
Hehe RTFM...
I rather like the Saitek X52 stick & throttle combo but thats probably excessive unless you're going to want to map every single function in the game to a button.
For more general use joysticks, I've always found Logitech to make good ones, I've got an old Wingman Extreme 3D Pro thats going strong after about 10 years or a hell of a long time anyway)
My old Wingman Extreme Digital 3D finally broke after more than 10 years of use last month. I replaced it with a Wingman Extreme 3D Pro (virtually the same thing as the old one) and could not be happier. $30 for the stick and it has all the functionality I need in a fairly compact and sturdy package.
Sounds great, I'll check those out.
Thanks for the replies and advice, much appreciated!

If I'm going to look at a little picture all the time, I sure don't want it to be ME, better to be someone hot. Sadly the only resemblance I have to my avatar is having boobies...
I don't have the X52 personally but I've used a mate's one and its a lot better than the x45, its got stick twist which is an essential part of games like freespace, rudder by buttons on the throttle just doesn't cut it
It is a very good joystick combo. A tad expensive but I'm glad I got it. It goes well with my G9, G15 (g18 MAYBE - NZ cost will be about $400 so maybe not) and G13 which I hope to get shortly.

Well that depends on how much you want to spend. I recently got a Saitek St290 Pro. And love it.
