I just installed FS2 and everything works fine except once I get into a mission my ship spins uncontrollably down and left. Under the bindings, clearing the pitch and turning axis fixes the problem but it also makes it so I can't move my ship. Just using a mouse, no joystick.

I found some discussion about similar problems at Hard Light Productions ( http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=46607.0 ). Basically it is possible that your operating system is somehow mistaking your keyboard for a joystick. And the game reflects this by thinking that you've cranked the "joystick" at roughly 8 o'clock position, so the ship will just spin. Check the joysticks from the Control Panel and if there is anything that shouldn't be there, remove them from the list.

Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to fix FS so it wouldn't think my keyboard was a joystick but switching it out for a PS2 keyboard worked.
