I recently installed FS2 on my W7 x64 system.

GTX 670; Nvidia driver 310.70
8 GB RAM
AMD Phenom x2 unlocked to x4 550 black edition 3.1 Mhz
3x 1920x1080 LCDs


When I try to start the game my screens just flicker for several seconds and the game doesn't launch. Nothing shows in the App tab or Processes tab so it isn't just sitting in memory taking up space.

Is this vanilla FS2 or using the Freespace Open Engine?

Assuming it is vanilla FS2, have you tried the usual things? - running the game as administrator or setting compatibility to XP?

Try using newest FSopen. It will enchance the graphics and use OpenGL. Maybe this will help. Also, use the compability option.
