Wont there be an option to download the soundtrack from Freespace 1. Am I the only one who preferred 1's soundtrack, it seemed to be more atmospheric to me, more elements of heroism in some tracks, tragedy in others and so on. The FS2 soundtrack is reasonable but I just prefer the first.

GOG can only give us the extras that the publishers/devs provided them with or allow them to distribute. They are always trying to get more stuff to add more value to these games, but sometimes what we want is just not available or is not part of whatever distribution agreement GOG has.

O hai. If you really want FS1's soundtrack, you could just use the vp editing tools used by the FS2 and Descent community to extract it from the game files....
