Hi i have bought free space 2 from gog and installed free space open but have i done it right?.

I have downloaded and installed this installer into free space 2 which took a long time even on my new PC,

I told it to install everything and in free space folder i have the mods too and also downloaded the launcher and open al. Ive told the laucher to look for fs2_open_3_6_14 application and moved the data movies into another folder called movies. When i run a mod though it works but an error message saying that there are errors but open source will do its best to solve it. Is this ok?.

Now when i go to breifing i can not choose a ship or load out and when i press commit it says that player should select a place in wing.?.

Have you tried creating a new pilot?

When you selected the mod, did you go to the campaign room and select the campaign that belongs to the mod? If you try playing the standard FS2 campaign (the default) when you have a mod like Blue Planet, etc selected, it won't like it.

Hi thank you for the reply but finaly got it working after 2 days of trying lmao. But is good so far and all these mods are awsome. Good game and cheap. My next GOG game will most likely be independce war 1 and 2 been trying to think of this game as i for got what it was called but finally found it here. GOG is awsome.
