It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I had Freespace 2 installed for a while, and was encouraged to install Freespace 2 Open. Now, I liked the idea of that, so I attempted an install.

Due to having trouble installing Open, I decided to uninstall Freespace 2, redownload and reinstall the game, to have a fresh install to put the Open Source on top of.

The uninstallation went smoothly, and so did the redownload. When it came to the reinstall, well, have a look at the attached image.

I've tried fiddling around with settings, but no dice. Made sure User Account Control was off, no dice. Cleaned the registry, still nothing. I'm not sure what's wrong here, and how to fix it. I'm running Windows 7 64x, if that has any bearing on the issue.

I'm sure there's a permission somewhere that's wrong, question is what.

Do you have enough free space, ran the install as administrator and/or disable AV during the install?
