Anyone know how difficult it'd be to swap out the font for the HUD? I think it's Bank Gothic, which is really hard on the eyes, in my opinion. I know a new font (maybe Microgramma/Eurostile) might introduce tracking/overflow issues, but I'm willing to try it out.

Unfortunately Freespace doesn't allow the swapping out of the font used in-game, in fact even Freespace Open hasn't implemented a solution to this. However development of ASCII support has been added recently, maybe a new font might be on the horizon too?
