This post is to re-initiate the discussion concerning the issues regarding the Afterburner, Briefing screen stall, and Input Lag covered in a previous post-and-solution. The links to the solutions in the other post are not currently working. I don't want to get FSOpen or FSPort, I just want a solution that will give me the experience of playing the original game without gameplay-trashing bugs. The afterburner especially needs attention, it is central to the game and if it cannot be used, the gameplay suffers.
