Hi. I played Freedom Planet some time ago, but now I have a new computer. I don't want to start over, so I'm hoping to find the old save files and move them to the new computer.

I tried searching on the internet for information, but no luck there. I tried looking in my documents, appdata, local, locallow, roaming, etc. I even tried searching my hard drive for anything with freedom or galaxy in their name, but no luck there either.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me where they are kept.

Okay. I think I figured it out.

The files you need are kept in the install directory. What you need to copy are the files named like "file1.sav", "save1.dat", and "records.dat".

Personally, I think this was kinda sloppy. I think they should have made a separate directory for the save files and named it save files. It would have stood out more, which is something you need to do if you are not keeping the save files where most games keep them.

I prefer that the save files are in the installation directory rather than search around user/appdata and all that crap
