Hello there guys!

I have been playng FF a couple of weeks now and I finally reached the final level, when I have to kick Timemaster's ass in his own realm. I fought my way through all the stages, but the very last one seems unbeatable to me.

Whatever I try with my current team, I cannot beat the Timemaster himself - he is very persistent and powerful, my attacks don't do much damage to him (well, maybe except Microwave's and El Diablo's), he cannot be stunned or knocked back. His stasis attack seems to have enormous range - no one can run away from it. Once stunned, my team got some serious htis from his primary beam attack till the stasis wears off.

My team for the mission: Minuteman, El Diablo, Microwave and The Ant. Is tere some way to imrove the current composition? Who replace for who and what skills should I use the most to beat that overgrown sphinx-headed thing?

P.S. playing it on the Hard difficulty btw.

It has probably been at least 7 or 8 years since I last beat FF so I cannot be much help here as my memory sucks now.
However I am thinking I had like 5 or 6 members of my team on the final mission (but again I may well be wrong as this was so long ago) including my custom hero (patriot named "Anthem"), that juggernaut-looking guy, Minuteman, El Diablo and...Alchemiss?!
I am about to start a new game again though so I may be able to help later.
Howdy Ferdish! For that final mission, you'll want a variety of damage types and resistances, and you'll definitely want at least one pretty heavy tank. If I remember correctly, I liked to bring Supercollider, Man O' War, maybe the Ant, and perhaps Alchemiss to act as a distraction.
Maybe late, but for reference I leave another idea here:
I finished the game on 'Normal' difficulty last weekend and the tactic may not be the most effective on harder difficulties.
I used Minuteman, Bullet, Man O'War and Eve.
Minuteman for destroying the prison generators, Bullet was quite good against the lesser minions, while Man O'War and Eve for their projectile attacks to beat the Timemaster.
I just spread them all on the disc and while the Timemaster could only follow one, the others destoyed the prison generators. After finsihing with the generators Man O'War and Eve constantly shot the Timemaster (Eve dealt 25 damage with each hit and she can shoot very fast), while Bullet distracted him and moved around to dodge the attacks. In this fight Minuteman was nearly useless, because the Timemaster can push away the close range attackers.
In my experience projectile attacks are the best way to defeat the boss, so Microwave and El Diablo also good choices. Microwave's Genetic Alteration and projectiles are extremely good.
