Has anyone successfully managed to get the 'Freedom Force Editor' to install and work for the first game?

I have been trying to install the version from here:-

http://www.freedomfans.com/modforce/editor.php

The problem is every time I run the installer I get the following message "The Editor requires Freedom Force to be installed first. Setup will now exit."

It goes without saying I have Freedom Force installed via gog and have already ran and played it.

TO get the editor to install, you need to add a key to your registry.

1. create a .reg file (use notepad) with this in it:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

2. double-click to add the keys to your registry.
3. you can now run the FF editor pack from Irrational
