Just a quick note to others who might have this problem: I found the mouse speed to be too slow, even after maxing it out under the game's options. The fix was very easy, however:
Go to your installation directory, and look for "Config.ini". Open the file, and near the bottom is the option MouseSpeed=### (If you've maxed it in game, the number will be 300). I set it to 500, and the game correctly raised the speed of the cursor once I re-entered the game.
