Not sure if this is a bug or if I just don't find my mistake but when I am in the hut I can't leave to go to the captain because of the tree. I tried to create the chemical reaction to destroy the thorns and developed two different powders: a green one made from the green mushroom together with the green crytal and an orange one made out of the orange mushroom and the yellow crystal. However when I put one of the powders in the machine for chemical reaction nothing is happening. I can't add anything to it.
Is it a bug or can someone tell me what to do?

It's not a bug. There's another chemical missing ... it's called H2O ;)

Yes. All you need is the correct powder and some water.
The wrong powder should vaporize and the correct one let's you continue the game.

foxtrix: I started the game from chapter 1 with the new update (version 1.2.527.3377)

Running on Windows 10, in windowed mode.

The game keeps hanging on me (at grandma's house and nearby screens), and I can't make any progress.
It just suddenly hangs, and I have to manually terminate the window. The worst part is that if I try to relaunch the game it hangs before showing any of the initial logo screens. I have to restart Windows 10 to get the game to run again.

This didn't happen to me before the January patch.

I really like this game, please fix this issue.

Please, drop this settings.xml in main game folder and start the game. If\when game crashes - send here wme.log file (from main folder)

Ok, I got wme.log but where do I upload it? gog forum seems to only let me attach images to posts.

You can just manually change the file name from .log to .jpg, then the forum will let you attach it. The person who downloads the file just needs to rename it back to .log

I tried that, and the site still gives me a wrong file format error. I guess it checks the file header to see if it really is an image.

Is cross-OS cloudsaving supposed to be availablew yet, or is it not implemented? I've noticed that Mac and Windows seem to sync saves with their own kind of OS, but not with each-other. Also, while they'll read the save-name for files from the other OS (I tried transferring them manually), trying to open them will result in the game crashing at the end of the loading screen (with either OS).

EDIT: Nevermind. Noticed the other posts about it. XD;

Bug: At the beginning of the game, just after leaving grandma's house to get the tea, grandma leaves the room to get me something (probably a key regarding to some walkthroughs). I see a dialogue like: "where have I put it", "a there it is", but then nothing happens and the game just hangs. Grandma never returns :'(

ver. 1.2.527.3391 on Win7x64 - On reading the diary entries at Grandpa's workshop after solving the chest puzzle and opening the chest. Suddenly diary entries previously read got highlighted as unread again. When reading one of these the situation went back to normal.

Just a cosmetic problem, but...

When you send fox to go downstairs and open journal. After closing journal, fox moves straight through the floor like a Casper. Happened in these locations: which(forester) hut, ferry main deck.
