I have a big screen and an older graphics card.
Playing on 3840x2160 gives me 8 fps.
Playing on 1920x1080 gives me a much nicer 30 fps. The game still looks fine fullscreen.
However, if I play on 1920x1080 fullscreen, Windows automatically resizes all my open windows to fit a 1920x1080 resolution. This behavior doesn't appear to be configurable. I really don't like having to restore the dimensions of all my stuff after leaving the game.
But I also don't want to play in 1920x1080 windowed mode, because that's a really small window. Fullscreen feels a lot better.
Is either of these possible?
- Prevent other windows (say, my open web browser) from being resized when Foundation goes into 1920x1080 fullscreen.
- Run in a borderless window that renders 1920x1080 (to go easy on the graphics card) while painting the smaller image over the whole 3840x2160 screen (Isn't this what Blizzard games do?).
