Hi,

I just found out about this game, and it seems interesting based on the devlog, and topics on this forum, as well as articles from other sources.

I'm interested to know what the finished product is intended to look like. What sort of gameplay features can we expect to see as well as what direction development will take?

I've been looking for an organic city building/god game since the 80's (yes, that long) but this is the first time i've ever seen it implemented, so you can imagine my interest. Without making any audacious promises, what will and will definitely not be done by the time the game is released, ie:
Will families/aging/generations be a thing, like in Banished?
Will there be in-map combat like RTS like Age of Empires or Turn-based like Godhood or is it going to be resolved off-screen?
Will there be multiplayer like the later SimCity games or even Black and White?
Random map generation or a map maker, or a map maker with random seed generator?
Will there be disease (plague, influenza, etc)?
Will there be technology improvements and research like Dawn of Man?
You can check out some of the plans for the future development of the game on our Roadmap.

To answer some of your queries though

- Yes there will be both a family system as well as aging.
- There will be both a map generator as well as map editor
- The game is a resource management/citybuilder set in the medieval era and there will be no technological development as the age will not change
- There are no plans for on-screen combat
- There are no plands for mulitplayer (potentially this could be modded but it is too early to say at this stage)
- There will be events that will challenge the player throughout play as well as a narrative.

The game is essentially a sandbox city-builder so there is no end-game other than that which the player sets themselves.
