Okay, so I played this game several months ago and decided I wanted to play it again. I installed it, so I just updated the game and clicked play. Nothing happened. I entered into Task Manager and saw that the game is listed as running but it will not start up. I tried restarting, verifying, repairing, and uninstalling, and installing the game to a different drive. same issue. I searched through the discussion board on here and do not see this issue represented here. But I could have missed it. Is there a fix available for this issue?

OK, disregard this post. I have discovered the issue. Apparently, if you are not signed in to OneDrive, the game waits for that program as it has my save files, mod files, etc. saved on the cloud. Once I signed in, the game started right up. Just a heads up for anybody else with this setup. Talk about a face-palm moment....

Suggestion: When saving a game, disable cloud saves. Then save games locally only. We do this for all games.

OneDrive is a bit of a pain!

It is possible to fix this another way by moving where the game saves user files. To do this you can add a launch parameter in GOG Galaxy
• Go to Foundation in your Library -> Click the settings (top right)
• Go to Manage Installation -> Features
• Select the Launch parameters check box -> then hit the Duplicate option
• In File 2 section add the following argument
-userpath c:\foundationdata
• Make File 2 the Default Executable
• Run the game

Where c is the drive letter and foundationdata the folder. You can change these to fit your storage requirements. Note the argument is exactly as above i.e. it includes the hyphon at the start

I have attached a screenshot which might help

Also note: After doing this you will need to copy/move save files, mods etc. to the new folder.
