When I am in the main menu pressing up or down on my keyboard selects only every other menu item, making it impossible to access the options menu among other things. The d-pad on my gamepad works the same way when pressing down, but selects every third entry when pressing up. I tried removing all the gamepad key bindings in the config file, and it did indeed disable gamepad input, but the keyboards still selects only every other entry.

Does anyone else have this problem?

And just as I wrote this I found a workaround: in the config file I had to change 'seta in_nojoy "0"' to 'seta in_nojoy "1"'. Now the game even has a mouse cursor. I'm not going to mark this as an answer since it's not a real solution, just a workaround.

The config file is ~/.local/share/Nightdive Studios/Forsaken EX/kexengine.cfg

Is this problem still present in the Linux version?

The last update in the changelog is from August 2018, so for the time being it's still an issue.
