I'm running this game on a Windows 98 and I'm noticing that there isn't any music playing. It just seems really awkward. Is this totally normal? When should I start hearing music in the game?

It's been a while since I've played the orig or remast. I just wanted to say thanks for the chuckle (Window 98, hahaha).

Well, no, it's not normal. Music should start playing right at the start, before loading the menu. I played on Windows 8, though; I don't know how things are different on Windows 98. I hope you have solved the issue in the meantime.

The game requires CD audio. I finally figured that out. I burned a full copy of Forsaken and put it into my CD tray and the music performs just as it should. Problem solved.

There's an entire library of games that will not have music without a CD in the tray. You can find most of them under the Red Book CD Audio list provided at PC Gaming Wiki. One google search should do the trick.

I apologize for resurrecting an old thread, but it pertains to the topic at hand. Does Forsaken Remastered come with the original Forsaken?
