Just for your information, widescreen is working perfectly fine for Demon Stone.

Tested:
1440x900
1680x1050
1920x1080
1920x1200

Working in that those resolutions are actually present in the game options, however, using those widescreen resolutions does produce a significant amount of horizontal stretching. The game actually looks much better in 4:3 resolutions.
