I am trying to kill the boss spider in the jungles of chult caves. I cannot do any damge with the sorcerer. How do you charge the ranged spells to do any damage in the pc version?

If I recall correctly, you hold down T and then hold down your left mouse button while the spell charges. When you release the left mouse button, the spell fires.
