I got hold of a scroll that says “The greatest weakness of the most feared creature is that, although it lurks in shadows and sees all, it cannot make itself invisible.” What the hell does that even mean? I just spent the last hour trying to figure it out but I’ve had no luck. Does it have any significance?

Spoilers below:








In the final battle, there is a fireball trap triggered by a light-beam, which is not set off if the party is invisible. Xanathar can't turn itself invisible and therefore triggers the trap.
