I realize you have to play the games with ASE or GBC in windowed mode or you won't be able to see the mods' display screens. The issue this poses for me is that the windows only seem to come in one size and that, when playing, I can see my desktop in the background. I know some people can play a game like that with no problem, but for me, it really harms immersion. I just don't want to see my Windows desktop while playing and have that is one reason I have always resisted playing in windowed mode. That said, I really want to take advantage of ASE and GBC''s benefits.

Is there a way I can display the game and mod windows over a black backdrop when playing, rather than my standard desktop wallpaper?
