So, in all 4 manuals (PoR, Curse, Secret, PoD) the trident is categorized as 1-handed. I've always thought it would be a superior weapon to the longsword but I've never had a good one. I just found Trident +3 in SotSB but I can't equip it and my shield ... it's 2-handed? Guessing this is a bug? If I recall, I got lucky and found a Trident +2 in PoR and used it with a shield.
