So, a couple of days ago I started playing Secret of the Silver Blades. It's a nice little fantasy and I'm enjoying it a lot.
I'm playing with my imported party from Curse of the Azure Bonds. I just cleared the Well of Knowledge. Since all of them are human except for my dwarf Fighter/Thief, I intend to bring my party into Pools of Darkness. The final party will look like this:
I have 3 Rangers, one of which was switched to Magic-user at level 11. The other two will continue as Rangers until they reach level 15, then they will switch to Magic-user. My other party members are a Paladin, a pure Cleric, and the dwarf Fighter/Thief. I will switch my Paladin to Cleric once he reaches level 13 and then when he gains back his Paladin levels, I will drop my pure Cleric and clone him. With all this class switching, I will definitely need tons of experience. So my question is: what is the best spot to grind levels in the game?
The observation I have is about the plot. I just couldn't help but notice the influence of Tolkien. I mean the whole "we dug too deep" and the Well of Knowledge which was guarded by a greedy red dragon guarding treasure made me think of Smaug.
