Hello,

I've a question about a secret button on level 10 of Eye Of The Beholder 1 (the one with Mantis Warriors). It's not the secret button in the room with four Mantis gards, it's another one.

You see the room with the two stone portals ? There is a shelf there with cleric scrolls, on the sw corner. Once you are in front of the shelf, look at the south wall. You see the crack down the wall ? Click on it.

It sound like a secret button, but with no visible effect... I suppose that this button is used with the shelf, maybe you must put something in the shelf and then push the button ?

In the Cluebook there is nothing about this, so I wander...

If somebody have any idea about this button, it would be appreciated.

As far as i know there are some areas in the game as well as there are some buttons have no function. The developers placed them but did not use them. You althoug can have a look for the goldbox companion, at the bottom of this site is a link to the all seeing eye where you get more information to EOB1
