I played the game originally on the amiga and loved it.

But i have run into a issue that i cant seem to work arround:

in teh dragonhord stead near the stack i get a message on one of the random encounter triggers "pic not found" and then a fight starts with 10-11 times the final balor boss complete with vorpals swords.

I have gone back to earlier saves and it still and issue (10 x Gothmenies as random encounters),

I have tried redownloading the game.

Any suggestions on how to fix / work arround would be appreciated.

I have the wizardworks version of pools of darkness and didn't run into this. I'm curious if you are using save game states though because I did have a corrupted game where even after 'beating' the game, it would crash. I used the save game states once or twice in that one.

Months later, I restarted the game fresh, but the same copy of the game. (just a fresh new saved game and NO dosbox save game states) and somehow it worked fine.

You might have to start over again. Sorry!
