Could anyone confirm whether the version of EOB3 sold by GOG has had the 16-bit AESOP engine replaced by the 32-bit version, thus eliminating the lag that made the game unplayable for so many people upon its original release?
Someone on the internet years ago produced a tutorial on how to replace it, with the blessing of the person who actually wrote the engine, but I can't seem to find it right now. Hoping somebody can confirm as it will heavily influence my decision to buy (I still have my originals and they work fine in DOSBox).
