I have all the Gold Box games not only through GoG, but I still have the disk images i made of my original floppies and I still have those as well.
I was thinking about playing them again, but I am having issues with Gold Box Companion.
One of the features is music, which I think might enhance my playthrough and keep my attention on them. I am afraid I have become spoiled on newer grid-based CRPGs over the years.
One of the features says it has music. I extracted the music packs into the GBC folder as instructed. I load up Pool of Radiance and I have no music in either Phlan, the Slums or Sokal Keep. I haven't tested much else as I spend a handful of hours roaming Google and different search results and I only gather two or three links where someone just says "it works for me", providing no guidance or possible help on getting it to work.
Any ideas?

I am using currently what comes from GoG (since it is highly suggested, so that means 1.3) and 2.65 of Gold Box Companion. I have tried my own DOSBox setup with my own floppies, but it looks like the 1.2 version I have doesn't have recognizable addresses?
Anyway. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Also, no I haven't seen it working as all the YouTube playthroughs are people talking over them, so music is not their thing.

EDIT
Well. This happens all the time. I do a little more searching after posting and end up looking into the folder myself.
Without any more tinkering than decompressing the music pack archives into the GBC folder as instructed, just run "GBC_Audio.exe", not "GBC.exe"
I started reading each of the executable TXT files and saw the GBC_Audio.eve matching txt file.
I am guessing previous versions of GBC when I last played with it didn't have it? And the "Tutorial" ont he BGC site makes no mention of it.

Anyway, keeping this here for those looking into the same problem.
