EDIT: Here is the exact issue I'm having but there appears to be a fix listed in the comments.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7qljh3RWbI&ab_channel=keropi666

In EOB 3 GOG edition, when I attack I hear the 'swoosh' sound of the weapon attack but then I hear 'tack, tack, tack, tack,' towards the end of the sound. The 'tack' sound is loud, like it's part of the game, but in my other non cracked DOS version I have it doesn't do this, it just plays the 'swoosh' sound nice and clean and that's all. Being as the GOG version is modified, cracked at least, is there a possibility the sound file is different? I've checked my GOG DOSBox config for the game against my uncracked DOS versions DOSBox config and I don't see anything that's really different. It's super annoying this 'tack' sound, anyone know what's causing it?

Visit this thread, it's explained here:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general_archive/eye_of_the_beholder_3_aesop32_guide

In my opinion GOG should update their version of EOB3 with AESOP/32, so to fix the horrible, horrible sound issues.

EDIT: Can't seem to find the necessary files, everywhere I've looked, the links are dead.

It would appear that at least one of the links in the aforementioned thread is dead. I did a search and found what appears to be a new thread on the subject.

Still working on this but this thread looks like my best hope, some of the links work.

I've made a backup of those threads and files from vogons.org here:

Let me know if you didn't get it to work, so I can give you my files.
