I'm back going to to re-run the good old AD&Ds, starting wit the EOB series.
Unfortunately, I can't get the sound going, on any of them. Say the EOB3 installer finds the sound card and, but no sound. I checked just about all I could, including mixer etc. but sill get no result (with anytihng, includint speaker).
I tried the default settings, the IRQ5 instead of 7, using sb1 instead of sb16, running it from a freshly installed DB, you name it.
Is there any log I could see from DoxBox, or any test exe that could help to identify the problem?
I know there's no music in any of them, but I miss the monster sounds, the hacking sounds, and the most, the door opening :)
