The coloring seems to be off with some of the games. For example Hillsfar is presented in shades of pink and light red. Is there a way to fix this and make it/them look normal? Also, when you start Hillsfar up from the desktop icon a black screen appears with a bunch of writing. It asks you to choose input graphics mode - CGA, EGA/VGA, or Tandy. Then it asks for the number of disk drives - one, two, 3.5 inch disk or hard disk????? Which ones do you choose? Does it matter? Is this normal for all these games?

Edit - I just figured out for Hillsfar the issue can be resolved by choosing 2. EGA/VGA and 4. hard disk when prompted on the black screen upon boot up. This seems to fix the color issues anyway.

This all may seem a bit weird if you didn't have a PC in that generation, but CGA, EGA and VGA were different color computer display standards created by IBM back in the 80s. I think the letters stand for Color Graphics Adapter, Enhanced Graphics Adapter and Video Graphics Array.

Basically the color palette was related to each of these standards:

CGA - 4 colors
EGA - 16 colors
VGA - 256 colors

These are all very primitive compared to today's standards of course. If given the option, you should always try to select in this order if you can:

VGA > EGA > CGA
