Hello everyone!

I usually lurk here but was just wondering if there was any 'official' method of transferring parties for the Gold Box games. I did it years ago on a 486 but am not sure how to now. I've seen a couple of suggestions but I didn't see anyone actually stating whether it worked or not. I'd like very much to start a new party but would like to make sure how this works before doing so. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Please note: I've edited my original post and updated the procedure. The first step in 3.2 wasn't necessary.
