OldHat: Not to troll but Amiga emulation isn't that tricky, especially if sold in a preconfigured .hdf format. I find WinUAE much easier to work with than Dosbox (even with DFend). The main problem with Amiga emulation is getting hold of official floppies, not cracked disks, which often won't install to a hdf.
Here you will find an excellent compilation of preconfigured Amiga games! The guy spent a lot of time on these. No Amiga fan should be without this, imo. (Runs great on Win10x64.)

Thanks but I pick up a lot of stuff second hand on markets and the like. I own Cloanto's Amiga Forever too so I can get hold of stuff through them too. Of course there are always places like LemonAmiga and such too.

I was looking into this again because I hoped maybe there was a way to get make the Amiga versions into PC versions... but not sure how that would work. Updating the graphics maybe, but it was so much more than just the graphics though.

This package sure seems awesome though. I already got the whole GOG collection of everything AD&D, and several boxed versions as well of... if not all the games, then close to it. This collection seems to even have a menu and everything for launching them, pretty nice :)

As for the idea to put Amiga versions on GOG, that could be pretty awesome. I even think I could find some of the original disks.

Sad thing about Gold Box games, is they dont work very well with WHDLoad, which is used to make old Amiga games work with newer Amigas. The Gold Box games though seems to freeze up when trying to save the game. Not every time, but something like half the time. Its a known problem, I looked it up on some WHDLoad bug reporting site, and it seems no one have been able to solve this problem. Has to do with how the games access the disks it seems.

So while I have wanted to try them again but on the Amiga, this has been putting me off. I did prepare a work around... installing them in as HD installs using Workbench 1.3 (the one made for the Amiga 500) and making my Amiga use a modified Kickrom 1.3 with HD support so that I could play the games from hard disk even on my Amiga 1200, and I also got an Amiga CDTV that has a hard disk and I installed the games on it as well... just never got around to actually playing them.

Not sure if I should use them as an excuse to use my Amigas some more, but for now I have tried downloading this collection to try it out a bit.
