I am trying to use the All Seeing Eye with EOTB. I have it installed and set up. I have the correct game folder, the correct DOSBox window DOSBox 0.74-2.1
I hit Start GOG Game and then search. It looks in cloud saves and cannot open the saved game or cannot find character names.
Searching memory for character names.
Character names not found in memory! Adjust the search range and try again.

my search address range is $1000000 $20000000

I am not sure what to do next
THanks for any help

EDIT : I am good to go. I was not running everything correctly. Figured it out

What was the issue? It might help those who are installing All Seeing Eye for EoB game for the first time.

I couldn't move my cursor from the game window to ASE window. I discovered hitting the Windows logo key on the keyboard let me. Then, with the game loaded, I hit search in ASE and all was good
I followed the instructions here https://ase.zorbus.net/tutorial/index.html
Set things, make sure the DOSBOX window name in ASE matches yours. And, start the game and get into your game. Then hit search in ASE and all was good
The default memory address range was fine

Great, thank you for the clarification. I was asking on behalf of future generations of confused gamers who may stumble upon this thread one day, intentionally or not. The other reason for my inquiry was a hidden hope that you might consider your query resolved, given that no one else is present (other than me, wink-wink) to provide an answer.

If you have never played Lands of Lore 1 by Westwood Studios, I highly recommend doing so after finishing the Eye of the Beholder trilogy.

Lol... hint taken. I have like 40 games rn lol. I am so grabbing all of the games I loved from 89s to mid 2000s

I couldn't move my cursor from the game window to ASE window.
in your dosbox.conf for the game (in the game folder), make sure autolock=false then you can move your mouse freely
Not to necro a dead thread. All you had to do was ALT+TAB from window to window.
I often leave TaskMgr up in the small view. Just in case something tries to lock up. Or locks the window like that.

Side Note: Officially ASE stopped being developed. Once Yahoo got ahold of it. I see theres a few community devs trying to maintain it. However, most of what I have heard related to ASE SERVER BROWSER. It cant connect to the scanners anymore.
