At first i played for a while and thought it would save automatically because i can't find any in game menu however it does not seem to have saved my game.

How do i save my game?


Update: I found out that the game supports cloud saves and has saved however each time i start the game it starts from the begining.

What is the point of cloud save if i have do it all over again every time?

This is one of those point-and-clicks with a creative save system. You have to use the journal in your inventory to save games (Make Entry to save and Read Entry to load). There are a few other options as well (music/sound volume, etc.). There is also a shortcut, either Esc or one of the Function keys.
