Apart from the Steam stuff, will we get the other updates:

Flatout:

Added widescreen support. (Up to 21:9)
Added Czech, Russian, Hungarian and Polish languages.
Fixed texture issues with Blocker and Pepper cars.
Higher quality music tracks.
Improved model pop-in.
Minor fixes and improvements.

Flatout 2:

Added Czech, Russian, Hungarian and Polish languages.
Restored unused track: "Papa Roach - Blood Brothers"
Improved model pop-in.
Improved FOV set by the game.
Improved aspect ratio for widescreen monitors.
Increased Lua memory limit.
Increased buffer size.
Enabled multiplayer hosted by OpenSpy.net

We never had Flatout: Ultimate Carnage or Flatout 4 on GOG which is a shame and Flatout 3 was one to forget though!

Not gonna happen because the update was done by zoom platform (A GOG competitor)

But like.. ZOOM Platform is Steam's competitor too, haha. Did they specifically say that the Flatouts weren't getting updated here?

So, GOG would rather let people go to their competitor for a more updated version of a game, potentially losing sales of that game to said competitor, than apply an update to the game because said competitor was the one that made it? I don't think I'd be a good businessman, because that makes no sense.

GOG doesn't have anything to do about it. Do you think that they don't want the update? It doesn't depend on them, it depends on the publisher/developer of flatout. So the best that people can do is contact them and let them know about it.

Sounds like GOG can strike a deal to add games to their library but then no deals are struck to keep them updated!
