At least half the 'shortcuts' are harder than just racing the track. The game really isn't as hard as you're describing it....

Maybe for you, but I have hard times on Flatout 2 to be first on the 2nd cup (silver I guess ?). But I love the game, I'll try over and over to succeed this :)
