Have you tried the latest version of Flatout 2 by any chance? I can't seem to find a changelog for the differences between GOG version 2.0.0.7 and GOG version 2.1.0.9.

No I didn't know there was one. I only just downloaded it the other day so I would assume I have 2.1.0.9, but I'll check.
