The game runs - but no key presses, no mouse clicks or mouse movements (I don't have a joystick) do anything. All the game does is eternally round robin through it's title video sequence. I cannot do anything else, the game appears dead to the world! The standard advice on the support page did nothing. Hence that now is at "3 / 15 people find it helpful". I'm on Windows 8.1, and my PC is a standard Acer Predator if that helps.

If I remember Flatout 1 from last playing years ago, that didn't use the mouse at all, so maybe Flatout 2 doesn't? No wonder all the mouse smashing was in vain! But still, surely the keys should do something!

Any help folks?
