Hi people of the earth,

I bought the game here on GOG and attempted to go multiplayer since a few days.

It always says that the version doesn't match and fall back to offline mode.

I tried to run a local server and put my server in servers.ini. It does connect to the server (i can see on the server console). But it disconnects the client and say the same: versions doesn't match.

Help would be appreciated on this issue, thanks !

I'm having the same issue and it's kinda sad that you posted this Oct first and got no response.
I'm kinda suspecting the GOG version doesn't offer online multiplayer.

SOLUTION:

There's no Developer-Owned designated server. Online has to be set up through independent end-users willing to designate their own server.

Gog hasn't added the developer's latest patch (also includes free Halloween content)
so the version is not up to date with what is being played online.

Check the Steam forums for the game. Dev gave me a Steam key.
