I just recently picked this up, and while it seems like a very interesting game, I can't seem to play it for long without being plagued by nausea. Has anyone else had this problem with this game (or others), and are there any ways to get around it?

I know it is an odd question, but I figured that I can't be the only one who has experienced this.

I just started to play it for the third time, 12 hours and 42 minutes allready, but never been nausea from it.. It might be the colouring of the game? Perhaps disable Motion Blur and/or bloom? Imho motion blur add's nothing to the game..
I get nausea with about every 'first person' game and up till now I haven't found a solution. Looking from time to time away from the screen helps, or sitting so far from it that you can see next to it.
The FoV (Field of View, how wide your viewing angle is) is only 55° vertical. That's quite narrow, suitable for playing on the couch from 3-4 meters away but not for playing at a desk. It causes nausea in a lot of people if the FoV is too narrow.

Quick google (not tried it myself!) found https://github.com/beatcracker/firewatch-fov-changer/releases as a way of conveniently setting a higher FoV, I'd recommend 65 first, if that's still too narrow try slowly going higher, I rarely go above 74 though.
