I just bought the game and can't get it to start on Windows 10. I've tried the ini file fix to turn off the videos, and I've tried the fix where you rename 3 of the video files, and nothing happens when I click the "Play" button. A reinstall did nothing, and launching the game exe directly throws an error:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application."
I never even get a window that crashes, just..nothing happens when using "Play" from Galaxy. Nothing shows up on the task bar.
Is there a way to get this running reliably on Windows 10? I was really hoping to play this, but if there's no fix I may have to refund it..I was craving some good 40k, too.
